Tom Damigella

I was born in Boston and was educated in the Melrose school system.

My family’s roots are tied to the North End, as my mother and my grandparents all immigrated to the North End in the early 1900's from Sicily.

I was drawn back to those roots and became a North End resident in 1970s after graduating from Boston University with a Masters in Social Work.

Also lettered in 2 Varsity sports Baseball and Soccer at BU.

Played for Boston Astros professional soccer team 1970

I married in 1974 and  raised a family of three.

In 1973 I became a partner in my family’s franchised Tupperware business where  I managed a sales business of 600  people for 50 years and was recognized as one of the top franchise leaders in Tupperware worldwide. Also participated on several corporate strategic steering committees.

In 2016 sold the business and then became  Goodwill  Ambassador for North America Tupperware.

After retiring in 2018 I became more involved with my Italian heritage and I am now Vice President of the Italian American Alliance. .

I always remained an active friend of the North End and became a member of FONE, a North End fraternal organization.

I joined the North End Historical Society board in 2017 and later became President in 2022
